Dr Brittany Jarvis (Osteopath)

Brittany’s interest in Osteopathy was sparked from a young age when she suffered some minor injuries whilst playing Netball. Part of Brittany’s treatment included Osteopathy and it was during her treatment that her passion for helping people developed into a career path.

As a result of her own experiences Brittany enjoys treating injuries of all kinds and working with her patients to get them back to their full potential. She prefers a holistic approach when treating a variety of musculoskeletal complaints which includes educating her patients about their injury and giving them the tools to be a part of their rehabilitation process to improve patient goals and outcomes. Brittany also has a keen interest in dealing with pregnancy, treating women pre- and post-partum.

Brittany prefers a structural approach to treatment which also involves dry Needling.

When she isn’t busy at work you will find her out and about walking her dog, going to the gym or playing Netball.

Brittany is a member of the Australian Osteopathic Association.

Meeting different people every day and helping them to work through their pain and injuries.

I enjoy treating the neck and head aches. I find a lot of people respond really well to osteopathic treatment. I also enjoy treating females especially during and post-pregnancy. The body goes through some big changes and as osteopaths we aim to provide as much support as possible.

A pilates exercise called bird-dog. It’s great for core and glute strengthening and stability.

Mum’s corned beef with home-made Irish bread.

I love to cook and exercise by playing netball and going to the gym.

At the beach or hanging out with my friends and family.

Definitely my mum. She’s the rock of my family. I also can’t help but look up to Adele who is such a great role model for women and is so unapologetically herself.
